Tinctures for What Ails You DIY Kit

Tinctures are one of the easiest herbal remedies you can craft at home.

This kit makes the two that I find most useful: Echinacea Tincture for an immunity boost, and Tummy Tincture with ginger, fennel and peppermint to ease digestion and unpleasant gut symptoms.

Tinctures are very effective due to their high concentrations of herbs and have an almost unlimited shelf life.

ESSENTIAL INFO:

  • Estimated prep time: About 20 minutes, plus 10 seconds a day for 4-6 weeks
  • Recipe makes: 2 x 100mL bottles.
  • Kit Box includes enough ingredients to make 2 batches.
  • Tinctures made with alcohol will keep for many years on the shelf. Vinegar preparations will keep for 1 year.
  • Contains no plastic packaging - all packaging is reusable glass or compostable wood products.

You will also need:

  • 80+ proof alcohol (Vodka works fine) or vinegar
  • 2 jars with tight lids

KIT BOX INCLUDES:

  • Instruction booklet, including step-by-step instructions, how to use and store your Tinctures safely, ideas to customise your product, and suggestions for leftover ingredients.
  • Organic Dried Echinacea Root (30g)
  • Organic Dried Ginger Root (20g)
  • Organic Dried Fennel Seed (15g)
  • Organic Dried Peppermint Leaf (5g)

If you’d like to learn about traditional herbal remedies, make your own natural products, and rely less on pharmacy drugs, then give this kit a try.
